Ford Argentina sales increased four percent to 1,612 units in December 2023. The figures placed Ford as the fourth best-selling car brand in Argentina, behind Toyota, Volkswagen, and Renault.
Individual model sales performance were as follows:
- Ford Bronco Sport sales increased 180.95 percent to 118 units
- Ford EcoSport sales decreased 97.6 percent to 5 units
- Ford F-Series sales increased 366.67 percent to 14 units
- Ford Kuga sales increased 11.11 percent to 10 units
- Ford Maverick sales increased 115 percent to 129 units
- Ford Mustang sales increased 133.33 percent to 7 units
- Ford Ranger sales increased 14.62 percent to 1,121 units
- Ford Territory sales increased 39.06 percent to 89 units
- Ford Transit sales decreased 35.71 percent to 117 units
For the 2023 calendar year, Ford Argentina sales increased 35 percent to 35,897 units.

The Ford Authority Take
Ford Argentina sales increased healthily in December 2023, which helped Ford end the year on extremely solid footing in the country. Although noticeably lighter than previous months, last month’s increase represents Ford’s 13th consecutive monthly increase in the country and goes against the broader market, which experienced a slight decline during the same timeframe.
Most of the Ford Argentina lineup managed to register double and triple-digit increases in December, including the best-selling Ford Ranger, which continued performing well into December. The domestically manufactured midsize pickup is responsible for the company’s success in the country, and the launch of the all-new model seems to be attracting a steady stream of buyers.
Among the rest of the nameplates, the Ford Bronco Sport deserves a mention, as it managed a substantial three-digit increase in sales, which allowed it to beat its 2022 figure and best November’s result too. By contrast, the Ford Transit continued to post disappointing numbers.
