No Ford Maverick Discount Offered In January 2024

The Blue Oval has not made any Ford Maverick discount available during January 2024. As in past months, this is a direct result of sustained high demand and low supply of the compact pickup, which has dissuaded FoMoCo from offering any deals toward the Maverick for the entirety of its 2023 model year.

For context, below we have included the Ford Maverick discount offers (or, perhaps more appropriately, the lack thereof) throughout the 2022 calendar year, as well as the 2023 calendar year to date.

Considering that the Ford Maverick once again decimated its rival in the compact pickup segment, the Hyundai Santa Cruz, during the fourth quarter of 2023, it’s no surprise that FoMoCo sees no reason to incentivize its purchase. Suboptimal supply at the dealer level is also to blame, although production increased between October and November before decreasing slightly in December.

The reason is obvious: 1. supply and demand 2. the dealers gulp down any discounts by over charging
