Historically speaking, special, limited-production, or simply new and in-demand models from Ford have been excluded from the automaker’s special X-Plan pricing. In the past, that included vehicles like the Ford Bronco and Ford F-150 Lightning, but in recent weeks, both of those models have become eligible for X-Plan pricing – save for Bronco variants like the Ford Bronco Raptor and Ford Bronco Heritage Limited Edition – as well as the Ford Bronco Sport Heritage Limited Edition. In addition to those models, the Ford Mustang Mach-E is also eligible for X-Plan pricing, too.
This news comes to us from an official Ford document that has been circulating online regarding the current slate of Blue Oval models that are eligible for X-Plan pricing. It states that the Ford Mustang Mach-E has joined this list of eligible vehicles, though it seems as if that has been the case for a few months now, as the document reveals that 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E models became eligible for X-Plan pricing effective June 5th, 2023 – though that information wasn’t previously disclosed, at least not publicly.
X-Plan – which has historically been available to customers that aren’t Ford employees, but folks that are extended family, friends, or suppliers – is just one of several special pricing plans that FoMoCo offers select customers, including A-Plan (Ford employees and their immediate family members), Z-Plan (retired Ford employees and surviving spouses), and D-Plan (Ford dealership employees and eligible family members).
In any event, it’s certainly possible that eligible shoppers could save some money with X-Plan pricing on the Ford Mustang Mach-E. In other cases, X-Plan pricing is a pre-determined amount based on dealer invoices or A-Plan pricing, and in some cases, eligible buyers can get A-Plan pricing plus a four percent discount, albeit with an added $150 admin fee.
We’ll have more on the Mach-E and X-Plan pricing soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for more Mustang Mach-E news and continuous Ford news coverage.
