Gone but certainly not forgotten, the Ford Fiesta continues to be a popular target not only on the used vehicle market, but also, in the collector car world. There, the performance-focused Ford Fiesta ST is typically the variant of choice, and we’ve seen some nice ones cross the virtual auction block as of late – including a modified 2016 model, a nice 34k-mile example, and even a Fiesta SE with an ST powertrain swap, too. Now, this 2016 Ford Fiesta ST continues that trend, as it’s currently up for grabs at Cars & Bids with just 30k miles on the clock.
A fine example of the hot hatch, this 2016 Ford Fiesta ST is finished in Kona Blue Metallic marred with a couple of scratches and paint chips, but nothing terribly major worth noting. Otherwise, it’s a nice, non-modified example of its breed complete with 17-inch Ebony Black wheels, fog lights, and a rear spoiler, giving it sporty look that matches its performance.
Inside the cabin, this Fiesta ST is equipped with the optional ST Recaro Package, which adds goodies like heated front seats from that company and dual power heated side mirrors, which complement partial leather upholstery, aluminum pedals, automatic climate control, a Sony sound system, and a 6.5-inch infotainment screen running SYNC 3.
However, the real heart and soul of the Ford Fiesta ST is its turbocharged 1.6L I-4 EcoBoost engine, which was factory rated to produce 197 horsepower and 202 pound-feet of torque, flowing to the front wheels via a good old fashioned six-speed manual transmission. Fun to drive and in fantastic shape in this case, this Fiesta ST should certainly attract its fair share of interest at auction, though it will be interesting to see just what someone’s willing to pay to bring it home.
