2023 MegaRexx SVN Is Another Modern Day Ford Excursion

MegaRexx has made a name for itself in recent years after cranking out some seriously wild machines – most notably, the MegaRaptor, which is actually a Ford Super Duty transformed into a Ford F-150 Raptor lookalike, albeit with with even wilder looks and gigantic tires as large as 46 inches in diameter. The company also recently created what it calls the MegaBronc, which is another Super Duty-based build that gives those craving a larger Ford Bronco a suitable alternative, as well as the recently-revealed MegaRaptor 7. Last year, that same company revealed what is essentially a four-row Ford Excursion successor dubbed the Megarexx SVN, and now, it has an updated version of that same model available to purchase, too.

The latest MegaRexx SVN is based on the redesigned 2023 Ford Super Duty, and started life as a Crew Cab, Lariat-trimmed, four-wheel drive model finished in Star White Metallic. From there, it was transformed into a four-row, nine-seat SUV thanks to its hand-formed aluminum roof section and one-piece side glass, giving it an OEM, Excursion-like appearance, one that isn’t by any means over-the-top like some of the aforementioned creations.

The same goes for the interior of the MegaRexx SVN, which features Baja Tan and Chocolate micro-perforated leather covering not only the front seats, but also, second- and third-row captain’s chairs, as well as the fourth-row folding bench, which came directly from a new Expedition.

MegaRexx even went so far as to beef up the SVN’s HVAC and stereo systems to accommodate those passengers located far, far in the back, too. Those folks will be treated to plenty of cool or warm air via Vintage Air’s Gen II system, as well as MegaRexx’s Rear Audio Package, which adds additional speakers and an amplifier to boost sound. Overall, the new MegaRexx SVN is a suitable, OEM-like replacement for the long-gone Excursion – and that should help it appeal to quite a few people out there with a need for a massive people mover.
