2024 Ford Bronco Pricing Adjusted For Manual And Automatic

Now that supply of the sixth-generation Ford Bronco has finally, seemingly, caught up with demand – a few years after that model’s launch – we’re beginning to see The Blue Oval apply some incentives to the rugged SUV to make it a more enticing buy. That includes a special discount just for Jeep owners thinking about making the switch, a new stairstep program that rewards dealers for moving more models, and its first-ever lease deal, to boot. Now, in an interesting turn of events, 2024 Ford Bronco pricing has been adjusted not only down, but also up in certain cases, according to CarsDirect.

According to a recent dealer bulletin, Ford took what it calls Mid-Year Pricing Actions earlier this week that actually increase the cost of models equipped with manual transmissions as standard by $500. However, the price of models that come with the 10-speed automatic gearbox have been reduced by $500, which is an interesting decision – one that fans of row-your-own gearboxes will obviously not be fans of.

This change affects the 2024 Ford Bronco Big Bend, Black Diamond, Badlands, and Heritage Edition, all of which come with the seven-speed manual as standard equipment. If customers opt to stick with that gearbox, they’ll be paying $500 more than before, but if they opt for the automatic transmission, pricing actually remains the same as before, due to the aforementioned $500 reduction.

This also means that the base trim level of the 2024 Ford Bronco – the Big Bend – will be more expensive than it was previously, which is notable given the fact that FoMoCo deleted the Base trim from its lineup a while back. This means that those looking to get behind the wheel of a new entry-level Bronco will pay more for that privilege, unless they opt for the automatic gearbox.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.
