Dinamic GT Pivots From Ford Mustang Back To Porsche

Shortly after the Ford Mustang GT3 debuted last June, Italy-based Dinamic GT announced that it planned to drop Porsche in favor of that new racer for the forthcoming Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe season. This came as a bit of a surprise given the fact that Dinamic GT had spent the prior five seasons competing in the Porsche 911 GT3 R, though it originally planned to pilot the Ford Mustang GT3 in both the Endurance and Sprint Cups, while also continuing to use its 911s at the Nürburgring 24 and NLS races. However, as the Ford Mustang GT3 faces high demand following its debut at the Rolex 24 at Daytona, Dinamic GT shockingly had a change of heart just a couple of weeks ago, and now, the team has announced that it will indeed move back to Porsche.

“We are excited to officially announce that this season we will be racing with Porsche!” Dinamic GT wrote in a recent post on Instagram. “A huge thank you for all your support and a special thanks to our team, who have overcome a difficult time with the grit and courage that have always distinguished us. Because after everything we’ve faced in the last period, winning will have another flavor!”

Earlier this month, Dinamic GT announced that it was terminating its partnership with Ford immediately, noting that its relationship with the automaker had come to an “abrupt end,” but the team did not provide a reason for this decision. According to SportsCar365, Dinamic GT will now compete in the Fanatec GT series in Europe this coming season, where it has secured four endurance cup victories since 2019 with Porsche racers.
