Ford Becomes Title Sponsor Of Phoenix LPGA Tour Event

While it continues to eschew advertising during events like the Super Bowl, Ford is also more than willing to use other venues as marketing and sponsorship opportunities, regardless. In recent years, that includes events like the Kentucky Derby, Conmebol Libertadores (the American Liberators’ Cup), La Unión Argentina de Rugby (UAR) (the Argentine Rugby Union), plus Disney group and the National Football League (NFL). Now, those efforts continue, as Ford has become a title sponsor for an upcoming LPGA Tour event in Phoenix, Arizona.

That event will now be known as the Ford Championship presented by KCC, which will take place at the Seville Golf and Country Club. This outing is scheduled for March 28th-31st, 2024, and will host 144 of the world’s best female golfers as they battle it out for $2 million in prize money.

“We’re proud to align with Ford, a global brand that recognizes the transformative power of women’s sports and shares our commitment to empowering girls and women, both on and off the golf course. Together, we aim to elevate the LPGA through this world-class event which will spotlight the incredible talent of our athletes while creating an unforgettable experience for fans,” said LPGA Commissioner Mollie Marcoux Samaan. “Phoenix is a thriving golf hub with world-class golf courses and highly enthusiastic fans – we can’t wait to return to the market with the Ford Championship presented by KCC.”
