A number of FoMoCo’s international divisions have earned accolades for being great companies to be employed by in recent years, a list that includes two wins for Ford Mexico – being one of the best places for young professionals to work, as well as earning a spot on the 2023 Best LinkedIn Companies list. Meanwhile, Ford Brazil has been quickly revamping its own business amid many changes in the South American country over the past few years – which have paid off in the form of a big sales boost – and now, Ford Brazil has also been recognized as one of the best employers in that part of the world, too.
Specifically, Ford Brazil has once again been certified as a Top Employer for 2024 from the Top Employers Institute, which is a recognition handed out to companies that demonstrate excellence in areas such as people management, adopt the best HR practices, and are among the most respected employers in their markets. This is the second consecutive year that Ford has received this certification, too.
The results of the Top Employers Institute certification program are based on a research carried out with a global methodology, supported by facts and evidence, and independently audited. It covers six HR categories, divided into 20 subtopics, which are then used to analyze the practices adopted by companies. This year, Ford stood out in the categories of Business Strategy, Organization & Change, Performance, and Learning and Ethics & Integrity, specifically.
“To be a Top Employer is a recognition that we are aligned with the best practices in the market and continuously improving our processes to seek excellence in people management,” said Fernanda Ramos, director of Human Resources at Ford South America. “This certification shows that we have been able to provide meaningful experiences for our employees, valuing their development journey in the company, in addition to the practices of attracting talent. In this way, the teams achieve results by having motivated professionals who feel valued, in addition to always being in search of excellence.”
