Designed from the start to be a highly modular vehicle, the sixth-generation Ford Bronco has lived up to that promise with a burgeoning aftermarket full of parts and accessories. However, the Ford Performance catalog has its own massive array of Bronco goodies to choose from as well, with a list including everything from a B-bow and C-bow brace kit to a Warn winch cover, Method wheels, a high-clearance exhaust system, and classic script fender badging, to name just a few. Now, that same catalog has expanded to include an array of new ring and pinion sets and a pair of complete rear axle assemblies for the Ford Bronco as well.
A grand total of five Ford Bronco ring and pinion sets are now available via the Ford Performance catalog – a list that includes front drive M210 units with either 4.88 or 5.13 gears, along with three rear M220 sets with 4.88, 5.13, or 5.38 gear ratios. Each of these ring and pinion sets are direct factory replacements are designed to optimize off-road performance, and all are compatible with any 2021-2023 Ford Bronco model, save for the Raptor. Pricing ranges from $350 for the front sets to $400 for each of the rears.
For those looking for an entire rear axle assembly for their Bronco, Ford is also offering up two different choices in that regard – one with 4.88 gears, and another with 5.13 gears. Both feature an electronic locking differential, and are complete units with axle shafts and brake rotors, which come ready to bolt right in.
Both of these rear axle assemblies fit all 2021-2023 Ford Bronco models – save for the Raptor – and both retail for $2,950. However, it is worth noting that additional parts are needed for models that didn’t come from the factory with a locking rear differential, and all will need to have the speedometer recalibrated following installation.
