Though overall satisfaction with the luxury brand remains average compared to the competition, the Lincoln Corsair – specifically – continues to rack up accolades, both with owners and critics alike. In fact, the Corsair previously ranked highly among Consumer Reports members in data collected from the organization’s annual surveys, and was also ranked as one of the 10 best luxury SUVs/crossovers on sale at the moment, too. Now, Consumer Reports has once again lavished praise upon the Lincoln Corsair after naming it one of the most satisfying models in its segment as well.
To come up with this list, Consumer Reports once again looked to its owner surveys – but this time, it didn’t just lean on overall scores. Instead, it looked at some specific owner questions from the survey, including how satisfied they are in terms of in-cabin comfort, storage space, driving enjoyment, ownership costs, and how easy the infotainment system is to use. This means that models didn’t necessarily have to achieve a high overall score to be named as a satisfying vehicle to own.
In that regard, the Lincoln Corsair ranked as one of the most satisfying vehicles on the market in the specific area of usability, topping the compact luxury segment in that regard.
Consumer Reports noted that Lincoln Corsair owners praised their vehicles’ features and technology, which is notable because many of its rivals didn’t fare so well in that regard. In fact, owners of vehicles like the Lexus RX and Volvo XC60 admitted they were quite frustrated with the controls in those vehicles, with specific RX owners saying that they wished it was “more user friendly,” with controls that are less complicated and more intuitive, to boot.
