As has been the case with all Panther platform sedans recently, the Mercury Grand Marquis is quickly becoming a sought-after collectible, evidenced by multiple low-mile examples that have surfaced at auction as of late – a list that includes a 2000 LS model with just 20k miles, along with a 41k-miles 2004. Now, an even lower-mile Mercury Grand Marquis has hit the auction block – this time, a 19k-mile 1994 model year example that’s currently up for grabs at Bring a Trailer.
This 1994 Mercury Grand Marquis was purchased new in California and remains in the possession of the original owner’s family to this day. The large white sedan certainly hasn’t been driven much regardless, given its low mileage total, though that’s also reflected by its stellar condition. In fact, there are no flaws noted on the exterior, which is impressive given the vehicle’s age.
The same goes for the gray leather interior, which looks to be in excellent condition save for the typical creasing in the front seats. Otherwise, there are plenty of luxurious features and amenities present here, including woodgrain veneer accents, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, air conditioning, a digital clock, power windows and door locks, a rear window defroster, cruise control, and an AM/FM cassette stereo.
Power for this Mercury Grand Marquis comes from the naturally-aspirated Ford 4.6L V8, which in this guise was factory-rated to send 190 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque to the rear wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission. In great shape with a short ownership history and hitting the market at the right time for this type of vehicle – which doesn’t really exist anymore – it stands to reason that plenty of bidders will line up for their chance to bring it home.

Life can be unfair. We sold tons of these to ‘elderly’ people but now that I am ‘elderly’ the car is not made anymore!!
Had a 2011 Grand Marquis that I bought used in FL, had 13K miles at purchase. I put on 90K over 3 years of trouble free driving save for tires and scheduled maintenance. Great car, wish that a Hybrid / AWD version was available today.
