Over the past few months, we’ve seen a number of nicely-kept Lincoln Navigator SUVs from the recent past surface for sale at collector car auctions, a list that includes a 2011 model with just 6k miles on the clock, another 2011 with 14k miles, and a 2010 Navigator that has traveled a mere 52k miles over the years. Now, yet another pristine example of the large, luxurious SUV has surfaced for sale at auction via Bring a Trailer – this time, a 2008 Lincoln Navigator L with a mere 28k miles on the clock.
This 2008 Lincoln Navigator L was purchased new at O.C. Welch Lincoln in Hardeeville, South Carolina, and has remained registered in that state ever since – at least until it was acquired by the seller this past January. The long-wheelbase model is finished in black on the outside, and the paint remains in very nice condition, though the seller does note that the right front fender and bumper cover have both been refinished.
The same goes for the cushy Camel leather interior, which is loaded with amenities like any Navigator. Those include heated, cooled, and power-adjustable front seats, second-row captain’s chairs, a power-folding third-row bench, maple woodgrain trim, a touchscreen navigation system, dual-zone automatic climate control, a rear-seat entertainment system, and rear seating audio and climate controls – not to mention copious amounts of cargo space.
This Lincoln Navigator is powered by the naturally-aspirated 5.4L V8, which in this guise was factory-rated to produce 310 horsepower and 365 pound-feet of torque. That power flows to the the rear wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission, and the big SUV also comes with a quite large 33.5-gallon fuel tank, to boot. Overall, it’s a nicely preserved example of an older Navigator, and in that regard, we expect that it will have its fair share of suitors at auction.
