2010 Ford Explorer Sport Trac With 38K Miles Up For Auction

Though we’ve seen our fair share of older Ford Explorer models with low miles surface for sale at various online collector car auction sites as of late, the same can’t be said of the pickup variant known as the Sport Trac. Given its uniqueness, we certainly expect that to change, and there are surely some stellar examples of the Ford Explorer Sport Trac out there, just waiting for someone to either list them for sale or sell them to an entity that will. Now, that’s precisely what has happened over at Bring a Trailer, as this extremely nice 38k-mile 2010 Ford Explorer Sport Trac is up for grabs right now.

2010 Ford Explorer Sport Trac With 38K Miles - Exterior 002 - Rear Three Quarters

Originally sold by CrossRoads Ford Inc. of Cary, North Carolina, this 2010 Ford Explorer Sport Trac has remained registered in that same state since then, and it looks no worse for wear now, many years later. In fact, there are no flaws marring its Black Pearl Slate paint, nor its silver-painted 17-inch aluminum wheels or various trim pieces adorning the exterior.

The same goes for the super clean Camel cloth interior, which is packed with amenities such as air conditioning, cruise control, power-adjustable pedals, a factory AM/FM/CD stereo, a multi-function steering wheel, and power windows, door locks, and mirrors. The interior – like the exterior – looks just about as good as new, a testament to how well this pickup has been cared for over the years.

Power for this 2010 Ford Explorer Sport Trac comes from the naturally-aspirated 4.0L V6 – in this guise factory-rated to generate 210 horsepower and 254 pound-feet of torque – which flows to the rear wheels via a five-speed automatic transmission. Throw in four-wheel anti-lock discs and an independent rear suspension, and we’ve got a pretty darn nice, modern – albeit slightly quirky – pickup from the recent past, and that’s enough to pique our interest, at least.

  1. I had a 2007 Sport Trac that I kept for 12 years and 164k miles. Mine was the 4.6L V8 with charcoal leather interior but otherwise very similar.

    1. They were awesome I heard Ford sold 60k+ p/yr w/no advertising or incentives when it was on sale! Should’ve kept it . You had the super engine! Tho the 4.0L SOHC is no slouch that’s why there’s tons of 20yr old+ Rangers on rds.

  2. that one is only the V6 edition. My current daily driver is a 2010 Limited edition with 82K miles and the 4.6 V8. People ask me all the time if I want to sell it. Ford really shot itself in the foot when they killed off the Sport Track
