These days, the Ford Taurus SHO is a common sight on collector car auction sites across the web – at least, earlier versions of the sporty, high-performance sedan. As for later models, those aren’t quite as prevalent at the moment, though we did come across a 2016 SHO with a mere 30k miles last September. Now, this slightly older 2010 Ford Taurus SHO is up for grabs over at Bring a Trailer with a few more miles on the clock, giving fans of that particular model something cool to bid on – or just lust after.
This 2010 Ford Taurus SHO has lived its entire life in the state of California thus far, and it has a pretty low 76k miles showing on the odometer, to boot. Finished in the optional White Platinum Metallic Tri-Coat hue, it’s in quite nice condition as well, with no flaws noted on its exterior. It also rides on a set of optional 20-inch wheels, and is equipped with evised shock absorbers, springs, stabilizer bars, and strut mount bushings underneath.
Peek inside, and one will find Charcoal Black leather and Miko suede covered seats with heating, cooling, and massaging features up front, coupled with amenities such as adaptive cruise control, a voice-activated navigation system, a 12-speaker Sony sound system, a power rear sunshade, dual-zone automatic climate control, blind-spot monitoring, and power-adjustable pedals with position memory settings.
The main attraction of this Ford Taurus SHO lies under the hood in the form of the twin-turbocharged 3.5L V6 EcoBoost engine, originally rated to produce 365 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque, which flows to all four wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission. With performance that’s still solid by today’s standards, we imagine that this generation of the Taurus SHO will soon become a more coveted collectible, and this is certainly a nice example of its breed, too.
We’ll have more cool auction finds to share soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for more Ford Taurus news and ongoing Ford news coverage.
