In recent months, we’ve seen quite a few nice, lower-mile, modern-age Lincoln models surface for sale at various online auctions and conjure up considerable interest. That list includes the likes of a 24k-mile Lincoln Blackwood, a 26k-mile 1997 Lincoln Mark VII, and a 52k-mile 2010 Lincoln Navigator, to name just a few. Now, we have yet another intriguing example to add to add to this ever-growing list – a 20k-mile 2013 Lincoln MKZ that’s currently up for grabs at Bring a Trailer.
The Lincoln MKZ was – like all FoMoCo sedans – discontinued years ago, in this case, when production of the luxurious model ended at the Ford Hermosillo Assembly Plant back in 2020. However, that may very well help make the MKZ a future collector’s item, and if that happens, this example will be highly sought after, given its low mileage total and stellar condition.
Sold new at at Napleton Lincoln in Glenview, Illinois, this 2013 Lincoln MKZ has been registered with the same owner since new, at least until the seller acquired it last September. All they had to do was add a new set of tires to this otherwise basically perfect sedan, which is finished in Smoke Quartz Tricoat with a Light Dune interior and features amenities such as heated and ventilated power-adjustable front seats, brown swirl walnut wood appliques, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a THX premium audio system.
This Lincoln MKZ is powered by the turbocharged 2.0L I-4 EcoBoost engine, which in this guise was factory-rated to produce 240 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque, flowing to the front wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission. In nearly flawless condition with low miles on the clock, this particular MKZ seems likely to appeal not only to collectors with an eye toward the future – but also, perhaps those just in the market for a nice, gently used luxurious sedan, too.
