The debut of the refreshed 2024 Ford F-150 last September also arrived with confirmation that the Ford F-150 Raptor R – which just launched for the 2023 model year – would continue to be offered, which is big news given the fact that its chief rival, the Ram TRX, is set to be replaced by the I-6 powered RHO. The 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor R will receive some styling updates like the rest of the lineup, along with a few other updates such as more power from its version of the supercharged 5.2L V8 Predator engine, too. Now, The Blue Oval is giving us a bit of behind the scenes look at 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor R production as it heads to dealers.
Go behind the scenes to see how the 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor R is assembled, the ultimate off-road titan with unmatched power and prowess – featuring a 5.2-liter supercharged V8 and an impressive 720 horsepower and 640lbs of torque. pic.twitter.com/nXS4pV2dij

This short but cool clip shows the 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor R getting assembled starting with its powerplant being fitted to the frame, followed by body panels, a revised heat extractor for the hood, followed by the suspension and Fox active dual live-valve shocks, updated headlights, front grille, and the truck’s 37-inch tires – which are so big they don’t fit on the assembly line. Instead, Ford fits the Raptor R with a smaller set of rolling stock and then adds them later.
The 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor R will generate 720 horsepower and 640 pound-feet of torque, which represents an increase of 20 horsepower over the outgoing model. This jump was achieved via “reduced air inlet losses coupled with an optimized calibration that also results in a wider torque curve,” according to Ford. Other notable updates including a new modular front bumper that’s accessory-capable, and Shelter Green paint, to name just a few.
