2025 Ford Explorer Won’t Have Financing Deals At Launch

The refreshed 2025 Ford Explorer just debuted a little over one month ago, ushering in the latest round of updates for the popular, long-running model. Though it isn’t a full-blown redesign, the 2025 Ford Explorer has received quite a few substantial changes, ranging from an interior overhaul to the addition of the new Ford Digital Experience software, new interior screens, a revised trim level lineup, and a simplified list of powertrains. Thus, it isn’t terribly surprising to learn that the 2025 Ford Explorer won’t have any financing deals available when it launches, according to CarsDirect.

The 2025 Ford Explorer will launch with standard financing rates to accompany its many updates, though customers will at least be able to opt for a 90-day deferred payment plan, at least. Otherwise, those that aren’t as enamored with the revisions present in the 2025 Ford Explorer lineup can instead opt to take advantage of some deals for 2023 and 2024 models, at least.

For 2023 models, well qualified Explorer customers can take advantage of finance rates as low as a zero percent APR for 36 months up to 5.9 percent across 84 months. The 2024 model currently offers finance rates as low as 2.9 percent for shorter terms and tops out at 6.9 percent, which is still more favorable than the 84-month APR of 8.9 percent, regardless.

However, it is worth noting that the 2025 Ford Explorer is cheaper in many cases compared to its predecessor, which isn’t terribly common in today’s world. There are exceptions to that rule, but in some cases, the more expensive 2025 equivalent is actually better-equipped, which negates that difference. Meanwhile, those holding out for a 2025 model will be seeing them populate our roads soon, as production is slated to kick off at the Chicago Assembly plant this May, as Ford Authority previously reported.
