Ford has long enjoyed a strong presence in South America, selling and manufacturing many vehicles in that part of the world for a very long time now. That includes the country of Argentina, where the automaker just celebrated 110 years in that particular market. Ford became the first automaker to establish a presence in Argentina way back on December 31st, 1913, and amazingly, Ford Argentina was the company’s third subsidiary outside the United States when it was established – a mere 10 years after Ford Motor Company was founded in the first place. As such, it’s no surprise to learn that Ford will once again serve as the official sponsor of Expoagro – the largest open-pit agroindustrial exhibition in the region.
Ford has formally supported Expoagro for quite a long time now, and in fact, this will mark 18 years the automaker has sponsored that particular event. This partnership has always made quite a bit of sense given the automaker’s commitment to the agricultural sector in the South American country, and it will also have a wide array of vehicles on display for prospective customers to check out. That list includes a handful of brand new models in that part of the world – the Ford E-Transit, Ford Bronco Wildtrak, coupled with its existing lineup to boot.
Customers will also be able to ride along in these vehicles at an off-road course at the event, get maintenance performed on their own vehicles while they attend the show, or even start the purchasing process if they’re in the market for a new vehicle or various parts and accessories. Additionally, Ford Pro – the automaker’s commercial entity – will have its own separate display for fleet customers.
This year’s Expoagro is set to take place in San Nicolás, a province of Buenos Aires, on March 5th-8th. In addition to the aforementioned models, Ford Argentina will also display its full portfolio of vehicles and services in the South American country, including the Ford Maverick, Ford F-150 PowerBoost hybrid, Ford F-150 Raptor, Ford Ranger, Ford Ranger Raptor, Ford Territory, Ford Kuga Hybrid, Ford Transit, Ford Bronco Sport, Ford Mustang, and Ford Mustang Mach-E.
