Ford Motor Company Mexico Sales Jump 36 Percent In February 2024

Ford Motor Company Mexico sales increased 36 percent to 4,295 units in February 2024. Sales increased at both Ford and Lincoln.

Brand & Model Sales

Ford sales increased 35.15 percent to 4,118 units:

Ford Bronco sales increased 75.34 percent to 128 units
Ford Bronco Sport sales decreased 0.99 percent to 299 units
Ford E-Transit sales totaled 1 unit
Ford Edge sales decreased 5.88 percent to 16 units
Ford Escape sales increased 218.75 percent to 255 units
Ford Expedition sales decreased 40 percent to 45 units
Ford Explorer sales decreased 6 percent to 94 units
Ford F-Series sales increased 12.01 percent to 1,007 units
Ford Maverick sales increased 87.59 percent to 272 units
Ford Mustang sales increased 207.69 percent to 80 units
Ford Mustang Mach-E sales increased 66.67 percent to 5 units
Ford Ranger sales increased 36.45 percent to 554 units
Ford Territory sales increased 34.13 percent to 1,006 units
Ford Transit sales increased 368.42 percent to 356 units
Ford Transit Courier sales decreased 100 percent to 0 units

Lincoln sales increased 58.04 percent to 177 units:

Lincoln Aviator sales decreased 39.13 percent to 14 units
Lincoln Corsair sales increased 252 percent to 88 units
Lincoln Nautilus sales increased 35.9 percent to 53 units
Lincoln Navigator sales decreased 12 percent to 22 units

In the first two months of the 2024 calendar year, Ford Motor Mexico sales increased 32 percent to 8,751 units.

The Ford Authority Take

Once again, Ford Motor Company Mexico sales were strong, having expanded on the solid streak that the automaker is experiencing in the Latin country. As such, FoMoCo’s strong growth of more than 1,100 units last month represents the company’s 12th consecutive monthly gain in the Mexican market.

Ford Motor Company Mexico’s positive result last month was marked by solid performance of several models, including strong triple-digit growth for the Ford Transit and the continued rise in popularity of the new Ford Territory in that country. Although it lost internal sales leadership to the F-Series by just one unit, the compact crossover remains the best-selling Fordl for the first two months of the year.

Also noteworthy are more than 200 percent increases recorded by the Ford Escape, Ford Mustang, and Lincoln Corsair during February. Additionally, Ford’s entire pickup line saw healthy increases in Mexico last month, including the Ford F-150, Ranger, and Maverick.
