NASCAR Ford Trucks Non-Factors At Bristol March 2024: Video

The NASCAR Ford truck racers had a mediocre day at Bristol on March 16^th, 2024. Two Ford F-150 race trucks managed to pull off top-10 finishes, while the rest were peppered throughout the 36-car field.

The NASCAR Ford teams had a quiet race until the green flag waved on Stage 3. Early in the stage, the No. 98 F-150 of Ty Majeski and the No. 99 F-150 of his teammate Ben Rhodes made contact. Majeski got loose underneath the No. 18 Chevy Silverado RST of Tyler Ankrum, spinning out in Turn 2. Rhodes wasn’t able to avoid slamming into his spinning teammate, and sustained damage to the No. 99 F-150.

Rhodes was able to stay out and avoided going a lap down, ultimately finishing 16^th. Majeski didn’t fare so well, as the impact hurt the front end of the No. 98 F-150, resulting in damage to the engine. Majeski had to retire to the garage and was unable to finish the race, finishing 34^th after only having completed 170 of 250 laps.

Matt Crafton’s No. 88 F-150 slipped into fourth place at the line, the best of all the NASCAR Ford Truck Series teams. Layne Riggs’ No. 38 F-150 finished 10^th. Up front, Christian Eckes put the No. 19 Silverado across the line ahead of Kyle Busch’s No. 7 Silverado for the win.
