In addition to using its 2024 Ford Mustang GT known as “Silver Bullet 2.0” as a test bed for product development, long-time pony car tuner and parts maker Steeda has been cranking out new parts and accessories for the S650-gen model, too. Last month, that list expanded to include a new set of ProFlow air filters, and now, Steeda has added two new 2024 Ford Mustang parts to its catalog – a GT500 style rear spoiler, and a set of spherical bearings for the rear lower control arms.
First up, we have what’s officially known as the 2024 Ford Mustang GT500 style spoiler with a tinted wicker bill, a part that’s finished in gloss black and is compatible with EcoBoost, GT, and Dark Horse models. This spoiler not only mimics the look of the part used on the S550-gen Mustang GT500, but its tinted wicker bill helps retain rear visibility and reduce glare, and it’s reportedly quite easy to install, to boot. The spoiler comes pre-painted and with all of the hardware needed for installation, all for a retail price of $299.95.
Next up, we have Steeda’s new rear lower control arm spherical bearings, which also fit 2024 Ford Mustang EcoBoost, GT, and Dark Horse models. The concept here is to address the limitations of factory bushings and improve handling performance, reducing both deflection and wheel hop during hard launches or aggressive driving.
Steeda’s rear lower control arm spherical bearings for the 2024 Ford Mustang help to correct oversteer and increase responsiveness, according to the company, helping the rear tires hook optimally. At the same time, these upgraded bearings retain OEM ride quality, and they come with a billet aluminum removal and installation tool, which makes it possible to install them at home. These new bearings retail for $249.95, and both parts are available to purchase now from Steeda’s catalog.
We’ll have more parts and accessories to share soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for more Ford Mustang news and ongoing Ford news coverage.
