In recent months, we’ve seen some truly interesting Ford E-Series models pop up for sale, a list that includes a very cool 1996 Ford E-150 conversion van, a replica of the “Mutt Cutts” van that starred in the comedy classic Dumb and Dumber, a 1996 E-150 conversion van, and a 1991 E-150 Sportsmobile, to name just a few. Now, those in the market for another interesting conversion van can bid on this 1995 Ford Econoline E-150, which is up for grabs at Bring a Trailer.
This Ford Econoline is yet another interesting conversion that has also been treated to the high-roof Centaurus modification that gives it a bit more room inside. It remained in the possession of the original owner all the way up until 2021 as well, after which was acquired by the seller shortly thereafter. Regardless, it only has 39k miles showing on the odometer today, and is in great shape with retro goodies on the outside such as a silver and blue paint scheme, picture windows, integrated running boards, and fender flares.
As is typically the case, the interior of this conversion van is rather opulent and feature-rich, stuffed with goodies including front massaging leather captain’s chairs, high-gloss walnut trim accents, an Audiovox TV, a VHS player, accent lighting, overhead storage compartments, window shades, and a vacuum cleaner to go along with the typical power accessories, cruise control, and other amenities.
Power for this Ford Econoline comes from the Ford 5.8L V8, which was was factory rated to send 210 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque to the rear wheels via a four-speed transmission. As a super cool conversion van with plenty of retro flair, it wouldn’t be surprising to see this well-kept gem drum up lots of interest at auction, too.
