2015 Ford Mustang GT 50 Years Limited Edition Up For Auction

Fans of the modern Ford Mustang have plenty to choose from in terms of unique variants on a daily basis, a list that has recently included everything from a 2010 Roush 427R with Lambo-style doors to a 2015 Roush Stage 1 with an array of upgrades, to name just a couple. Now, we can add this 2015 Ford Mustang GT 50 Years Limited Edition model to that list, as it is currently up for grabs at Hagerty – though in this case, it’s certainly not some kind of bone stock collectible.

For the most part, this limited-edition Ford Mustang looks much like it did when it left the factory, as those models were equipped with a unique grille with a bright surround, 19-inch premium Luster Nickel-painted aluminum wheels, 255/40R19 all-season tires, a unique rear gas cap badge, an “Axle Spin” aluminum dash panel, unique seat and door-trim panel inserts, along with a handful of additional options. Ford built a mere 1,964 examples of this special pony car, a way to salute the year that it debuted at the New York International Auto Show.

This particular 2015 Ford Mustang 50 Years model is finished in one of two available exterior colors – Wimbledon White (the other being Kona Blue) – and it’s number 1,491 out of 1,964 produced. However, it has also been treated to a Roush Performance Stage 2 Supercharger and cat-back exhaust, a lowered suspension, short-throw shifter, gold electroplated front and rear emblems, and louvered rear quarter windows.

As a result of its mechanical upgrades, this Mustang churns out a cool 727 horsepower and 610 pound-feet of torque, which likely makes it one of – if not the most – capable anniversary pony cars out there. With just 1,447 miles showing on the odometer, it’s also basically brand new – making it a pretty cool target for anyone in the market for a unique Mustang of any kind.
