Perhaps unsurprisingly, the debut of the Ford Maverick for the 2022 model year was accompanied by a host of custom examples that made their way to the SEMA Show over the past couple of years – a list that includes an XLT Hybrid customized by DRAGG, a low-slung build from Tucci Hot Rods, one sporting a cap from Leer Group, and a more off-road-focused variant from Air Design. Now, another former SEMA Ford Maverick build is up for grabs as well, this time, via Facebook Marketplace.
This particular 2022 Ford Maverick was built for the 2022 SEMA Show in a collaboration between multiple aftermarket companies that include Saleen Performance Parts, JBL Audio, Toyo Tires, and 3D Carbon. One will immediately notice the custom paint that combines Ford’s Calypso Green with pink, white, and black graphics, covering a custom front air dam, the front splitter, side rockers, grill inserts, fender vents, fender flares, and a rear roll pan.
Thanks to the presence of an air ride suspension underneath – with a remote control mounted inside the cabin and an air compressor in the bed – this Ford Maverick can sit directly on its 22-inch white powder coated TSW Daytona wheels and 265/35/22 Toyo Proxes STIII tires, too. However, it has more in its bag of tricks, too – a hydraulic system that’s able to raise the wake tower present in the bed, which is equipped with four JBL marine grade speakers for instant outdoor parties.
This 2022 Ford Maverick is certainly what one would envision when they think of a SEMA build – a bit over the top and designed to garner attention everywhere it goes, if nothing else. However, the asking price of $85,000 might just be enough to scare off any prospective buyers, unless they simply want a turnkey customer truck like nothing else out there.

Let the bidding begin.
Imagine going through all that work and putting a crappy soft cover on the bed.
Ugliest thing I’ve ever seen.
Butt ugly.
Good luck with THAT price!! Wow.
That price is much less than what it cost to build.
For how ugly it is they will have to give it away.
85k for that XL maverick LMFAO, this guy is crazy.
