As many are well aware, the sixth-generation 2021 Ford Bronco was originally supposed to be offered with a Shadow Black-painted hardtop, in addition to other possible color options. That never happened, as the pandemic and supply chain issues prompted the automaker to pare down its offerings to a Carbonized Gray molded-in color hardtop only, though two Bronco models now offer painted roof options – the Heritage Edition with its Oxford White top, and the just-revealed 2024 Ford Bronco Raptor Black Appearance Package with its Shadow Black piece. However, Ford Authority recently spotted a 2024 Ford Bronco Raptor equipped with a body-color roof – shortly after reporting that such a thing may soon become an option – signaling that more choices may be coming soon, and now, that’s precisely the case with the 2024 Ford Bronco Raptor lineup.
With MIC top availability finally reaching the point where Ford began offering it as an accessory, the 2024 Ford Bronco Raptor lineup has also gained a body-color painted hard top for an additional cost of $600. This option is already listed in the Bronco Raptor’s online build and price configurator, too. Adding the body-color top to one’s order also adds the sound deadening headliner, rear-window defroster and washer, and the storage bag for the front row top panels.
This mid-year update accompanies a handful of changes that already took place for the 2024 Ford Bronco Raptor lineup, including the addition of body-color painted fender flares, plus the brand new Code Orange package and two new exterior colors – Shelter Green Metallic and Velocity Blue.
As for the regular 2024 Ford Bronco lineup, it also received some updates for the new model year in the form of making the larger 12-inch screen with Sync 4 standard across the entire lineup, while Badlands-trimmed models now come equipped with the Heavy Duty Modular Front Bumper as standard equipment, too.
We’ll have more on the 2024 Ford Bronco Raptor soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for more Ford Bronco news, Bronco Raptor news, and continuous Ford news coverage.

Also noticed that the everglades wheels are now an option on some other trims, along with a “sasquatch package without beadlock wheels” option. There’s also a vague second “hard top” option, but selecting it just made the roof disappear in the photos of the build tool. But I wasn’t building a Raptor.
