Last August, Ford Performance revealed a pair of brand new pony car covers – one, for the Fox Body generation model, and another, for the brand new 2024 Ford Mustang. As Ford Authority reported yesterday, a grand total of three different types of 2024 Ford Mustang car covers have officially launched in the Ford Performance catalog, each of which is designed for indoor use, and each intended to perfectly fit a trio of models fitted with different rear wing designs. Now, that trio of indoor car covers have been joined by three outdoor options for the brand new pony car, too.
As was the case with the new 2024 Ford Mustang indoor covers, these outdoor covers are all designed to fit different models – at least, depending on what sort of rear wing they’re equipped with. The first, sold under part number M-19412-S6TL, is designed to fit 2024 Ford Mustang EcoBoost and GT models with no or low wing options, while M-19412-S6T is compatible with the GT and Dark Horse with mid wing options, and M-19412-S6TH fits GT and Dark Horse Mustangs with the High Performance Pack wing with the Gurney flap.
Otherwise, these car covers are all basically the same, as each was designed by CoverKing with a water-resistant, breathable micro-fiber fabric that’s specifically intended to prevent scratches and provide protection from things like dust, dirt, and the sun. The covers are finished in gray with a reflective simulated track, a white and red Ford Performance logo on the windshield banner and both sides, as well as black pony logos on the front grille and rear deck.
Designed to be used both indoors or outdoors, these new 2024 Ford Mustang car covers also feature multi piece construction with bind stitching that hides all the seams for a cleaner look, and there’s no coating to wear off either. All three come with a storage bag, and each retails for $625.
