2024 Ford Super Duty Adds New Glacier Gray Color

The 2024 Ford Super Duty welcomes two new colors to its lineup, including Darkened Bronze Metallic and Glacier Gray Metallic Tri-Coat. Here’s everything you need to know about the latter, Glacier Gray Metallic Tri-Coat.

Tagged with paint code R7, Glacier Gray Metallic Tri-Coat is offered on the 2024 Ford Super Duty Lariat, Platinum and Limited trims; it can also be added to the King Ranch trim, but only if it is selected alongside the optional Chrome Package (option code 17C). The premium color adds $995 to the overall cost of the heavy duty pickup.

Glacier Gray Metallic Tri-Coat is one of 10 available exterior colors for the 2024 Ford Super Duty. The entire color lineup is as follows (relevant paint codes listed in parentheses):

  • Agate Black Metallic (UM)
  • Antimatter Blue Metallic (HX)
  • Carbonized Gray Metallic (M7)

  • Medium Dark Slate

Finally, the following list outlines all available trim levels for the 2024 Ford Super Duty:

  • XL
  • XLT
  • Lariat
  • King Ranch
  • Platinum
  • Limited

The 2024 Ford Super Duty wasn’t subject to many changes or updates for the latest model year. This isn’t much of a surprise, considering that it was treated to a a redesign for the 2023 model year. Even so, the XL and XLT trims gained Onboard Scales and Smart Hitch to make towing easier.

Production of the Ford Super Duty line, which is handled at the Kentucky Truck Plant and Ohio Assembly plant, saw an uptick during March 2024. Specifically, 33,286 units rolled off the assembly line last month, up nine percent from February, as The Blue Oval recovers from production woes that plagued the automaker in late 2023 as a result of UAW strikes.

What is with all these muddy colors, do these manufacturers only have a couple of pails of blue black and white?
