Hot off a refresh for the 2023 model year, the 2024 Lincoln Corsair didn’t get any groundbreaking changes or updates, although it did leave one color behind. Ford Authority details everything you need to know about the discontinued color, Crystal Red Metallic Premium Colorant.
Crystal Red Metallic Premium Colorant was identifiable by paint code L8, and was offered on all three 2023 Corsair trims, including Standard, Reserve and Grand Touring, adding $750 to the overall cost of the luxury crossover. In fact, since the color has now been discontinued after just one model year, Crystal Red is exclusive to the 2023 Corsair.
Aside from the deletion of a single color option, the 2024 Lincoln Corsair carries on unchanged from the 2023 model year. However, the luxury crossover was treated to quite a few changes and updates for 2023. This includes revised exterior styling, an updated interior, and the deletion of optional turbocharged Ford 2.3L I4 EcoBoost engine. Technological upgrades include Sync 4 and BlueCruise, the marque’s semi-autonomous driver assist feature.
Production of the 2024 Lincoln Corsair is handled at the Louisville Assembly plant, where production ramped up during March, with 3,520 units rolling off the assembly line last month. Considering that the Corsair was recognized as one of the most satisfying luxury SUVs of 2024 by Consumer Reports, increasing production to answer demand for the luxury crossover is essential. However, it’s also worth noting that sales of the Corsair slipped nine percent during the fourth quarter of 2023, likely due to decreased production during the last few months of 2023 as a result of a software issue (that has since been resolved) along with UAW strikes.
As a reminder, pricing for the 2024 Lincoln Corsair starts at $40,030 for the base Premiere trim.

What would be interesting is news about what Ford intends to do on the 2025 Corsair. I know it’s a few months early for the official information, but I’m sure pre-planning already made most of the decisions. Will there be a new paint color, will anything at all be changed, deleted or added. For example, will BlueCruise 1.3 replace version 1.2? Thanks!
