2025 Ram 1500 Warlock Debuts As New Ford F-150 FX4 Rival

Following its debut a few months ago, the refreshed 2024 Ford F-150 began shipping to dealers earlier this month. The updated pickup carries over with a host of variants – including the Tremor, which slots in the lineup beneath the more hardcore Raptor, and for the new year, that model also received some notable updates designed to help it better stand out from the regular F-150. However, the refreshed Ford F-150 will soon be competing against the the also-updated 2025 Ram lineup, which includes the regular 1500 model, the PHEV Ramcharger, the high-performance RHO (which replaces the TRX), and the Rebel, as well as this – the 2025 Ram 1500 Warlock, which rivals both the F-150 FX4 Off-Road Package and the Tremor in many ways.

The 2025 Ram 1500 Warlock is a bit of a retro throwback to Dodge’s Warlock pickups from the 1970s, but in this more modern guise, it’s designed to be a well-equipped version of the refreshed Ram with factory customization options. On the outside, those special touches include a black grille, 18-inch black painted aluminum wheels, LED headlamps, a dual exhaust system with black tips, tow hooks, black exterior badging, and optional Warlock decals on the hood and bedsides.

Inside the cabin, the 2025 Ram 1500 Warlock comes standard with an 8.4-inch touchscreen as standard, plus a seven-inch driver’s display, black cloth seating, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and an overhead console. More importantly, underneath, the Warlock features a one-inch factory lift, Bilstein shocks and skid plates. Power comes from the twin-turbocharged 3.0L I-6 SST (standard output) engine, which is rated to produce 420 horsepower and 469 pound-feet of torque and is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The Ram 1500 Warlock is available to purchase now in eight exterior colors – Delmonico Red, Flame Red, Hydro Blue, Forged Blue Metallic, Diamond Black, Granite Crystal Metallic, Billet Silver Metallic, and Bright White – and retails for $54,260, not including destination charges.
