Door From Ken Block’s Ford Fiesta RX43 Up For Auction

Back in January 2023, Ken Block – creator of Hoonigan and long-time Ford partner/race car driver – was tragically killed in a snowmobile accident, which promptly sent shockwaves across the entire industry. Many of us became fans of Ken Block not only via his Blue Oval connections and racing endeavors, but also, his many entertaining Gymkhana videos and other content. Since then, Ford Performance has paid tribute to the late Block, and his number was retired by the American Rally Association (ARA), while his daughter Lia is following in her father’s footsteps. Meanwhile, many Blue Oval builds belonging to Ken Block have been sold in recent months, and now, this door from his Ford Fiesta RX43 is up for auction at eBay, too.

This Ford Fiesta RX43 passenger side door was present on Block’s rally racer during the 2015 Global Rallycross Championship season. However, it’s also just one of several cool pieces of Ken Block memorabilia up for grabs as part of a very special event – the Ken Block Collection auction – which also includes a front bumper from his Ford Fiesta RS WRC racer as well.

The auction site is partnering with the Block family and the 43 Institute to sell some items from the late racer’s personal collection, including parts like this, art pieces, memorabilia, and various collectibles stemming from Block’s racing endeavors and Gymkhana series, to boot. All of the proceeds from these auctions go directly to 43 Institute, which aims to support rising motorsport talent.

This Ford Fiesta RX43 door is one of those special items, having seen action in the aforementioned series years ago. Though it sports a good bit of damage, that only makes it more desirable in our book – particularly when we consider the fact that Block forged a reputation for having a care-free and ultra-aggressive driving style over his many years in competition.
