The rally racing-inspired Ford Mustang Mach-E Rally debuted back in July 2023 after the idea for such a model came from an off-road enthusiast-filled group of engineers, and it took just a year to develop, too. The high-performance dirt road-focused EV crossover is slated to be sold not only in the U.S., but also, Europe, and now, we know that Ford Mustang Mach-E Rally order banks are set to open up on the latter region next week, too.
Ford Mustang Mach-E Rally banks for European customers officially open up on April 30th, at which time customers in that part of the world can secure their own high-performance dirt-slinging model. Those customers will be getting the same exact version of the Mach-E Rally as their American counterparts as well, though FoMoCo hasn’t yet announced pricing for the special variant just yet.
Regardless, the Ford Mustang Mach-E Rally offers up more power than even the range-topping (yet discontinued for 2024) Mach-E GT Performance Edition – 480 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque – versus 480/634 for the latter model – from a pair of electric motors. Underneath, the Rally’s extra power is complemented by MagneRide shocks with specially-tuned springs, a 0.8-inch suspension lift, 15.8-inch front brake rotors with Brembo calipers, and protective shielding for both motors, while a unique RallySport drive mode helps take advantage of those tweaks.
All of that hardware is complemented by a set of model-specific 19-inch wheels wrapped in Michelin CrossClimate2 all-season tires, while the Ford Mustang Mach-E Rally looks the part with a unique front fascia, fog lights, a hatch-mounted rear wing, stripes, and a black-painted roof. In terms of range, taking it easy with the right foot should result in around 250 miles from the crossover’s battery pack, which offers up 91 kWh of usable capacity.
We’ll have more on the Mach-E Rally soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for more Mustang Mach-E news and non-stop Ford news coverage.
