The Ford Authority Take

After experiencing a drastic triple-digit increase in February and a total of 13 consecutive months in the green, Ford Brazil’s sales fell considerably during March. As such, this represents FoMoCo’s first sales stumble in more than a year in the Brazilian market.

Ford Ranger XL Brazil - Exterior 001 - Rear Three Quarters

This notable interruption in Ford Brazil’s growth path is mainly due to the setback of the new Ford Ranger imported from Argentina, which is most likely experiencing supply problems due to production difficulties in that country. The midsize pickup truck has so far had a good reception in Brazil and had been selling a a brisk pace in prior months.

Despite the overall decline, it is worth highlighting the notable triple-digit growth of the Ford F-150 and Ford Maverick. Both models managed to maintain their popularity in the local market and are helping to attract new customers to the brand.
