In Mexico – where the Ford Bronco Sport is built – a number of variants have joined the crossover’s lineup as of late, including the Black Diamond Special Edition, which is also true of the Ford Bronco Heritage Edition, as the Bronco Sport’s retro-styled big brother debuted in that market last August. Now, the Mexican Ford lineup continues to expand, this time, to include the Ford Bronco Sport Black Appearance Package – which debuted in the U.S. last July.
As one might imagine, the Ford Bronco Sport Black Appearance Package destined for Mexico is essentially identical to the one sold north of the border, which means that it adds a variety of darker elements to the exterior and interior of the rugged crossover. On the outside, the 2024 Bronco Sport Black Appearance Package sports a Carbon Black front grille, two-tone Bronco lettering, matte black 17-inch wheels, matte black hood graphics, a Shadow Black-painted roof, black accent trim, and a smoked chrome Blue Oval badge.
Inside the cabin, this optional package includes Sport Contour seats and a modified air bag cover, which features a black bucking Bronco badge for added effect. Customers can only spec the Black Appearance Package on Big Bend-trimmed Bronco Sport models, and in Mexico, they have a handful of exterior color options to choose from – Smoke Gray, Tundra White, Jungle Green, Basalt Black, Volcanic Gray, Terracotta Red, Arctic Gray, and Atlas Blue.
The Ford Bronco Sport Black Appearance Package aims to capitalize on the ever-popular trend of replacing lighter-colored elements with dark ones, and joins a host of other, similar packages across The Blue Oval lineup. In Mexico, those looking to purchase this precise model and jump on that wagon can do so for an MSRP of $773,000 MXN, which equates to around $47,159 USD.
