Ford ‘Freedom Of Choice’ Campaign Gets Three More Ads: Video

With all-electric vehicle demand lagging behind expected levels – largely due to big pricing disparities – Ford has shifted its focus to developing smaller, cheaper models, delaying others, and planning to add hybrid options to the entire Ford Blue lineup by 2030, which it views as no-compromise alternatives to fully-electric models. Recently, the automaker launched a new ad campaign called “Freedom of Choice,” which touts its diversified powertrain lineup, and now, that has expanded to include three new ad spots, too.

The first of this trio of ads is called “Ford F-150 Your Way,” and centers around America’s favorite pickup. This spot touts the fact that the F-150 can be had with a variety of traditional ICE powertrains, plus the hybrid PowerBoost and the all-electric Ford F-150 Lightning, giving customers the power of choice, so to speak.

Next up, we have “Power What Moves You,” an ad that focuses on the Ford Mustang, Ford Bronco, Ford Mustang Mach-E, and Ford Maverick telling us to “feel the rush, no matter how you power up, in a Ford that’s made to thrill.” Once again, we have a trio of options to choose from – gas, hybrid, and electric, albeit in different vessels this time.

Finally, the third new Freedom of Choice commercial is called “Start Here,” and stars the Maverick Hybrid yet again, along with the Ford Explorer and Ford Bronco Sport. The concept here is that no matter how one chooses to power up, or what they do with that power, the automaker wants us to “let Ford be your starting line,” touting the fact that “the power is yours.” In this case, referring to the fact that Blue Oval customers have a bevy of options when it comes to what type of powertrain they prefer.

We’ll have more on this ad campaign soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for non-stop Ford news coverage.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.
