Ford Motor Company Mexico sales increased 32 percent to 4,392 units in March 2024. Sales increased at Ford and Lincoln.

Brand & Model Sales

Ford sales increased 32.42 percent to 4,207 units:

Ford Bronco sales increased 31.06 percent to 173 units
Ford Bronco Sport sales decreased 41.62 percent to 195 units
Ford E-Transit sales totaled 3 units
Ford Edge sales decreased 68.97 percent to 9 units
Ford Escape sales increased 853.85 percent to 248 units
Ford Expedition sales decreased 62.37 percent to 35 units
Ford Explorer sales decreased 33.54 percent to 105 units
Ford F-Series sales decreased 8.86 percent to 864 units
Ford Maverick sales increased 40.64 percent to 263 units
Ford Mustang sales increased 143.9 percent to 100 units
Ford Mustang Mach-E sales were flat at 3 units
Ford Ranger sales increased 115.93 percent to 732 units
Ford Territory sales increased 78.36 percent to 981 units
Ford Transit sales increased 126.48 percent to 496 units
Ford Transit Courier sales totaled 0 units

Lincoln sales increased 32.14 percent to 185 units:

Lincoln Aviator sales decreased 59.09 percent to 9 units
Lincoln Corsair sales increased 75 percent to 28 units
Lincoln Nautilus sales increased 110.77 percent to 137 units
Lincoln Navigator sales decreased 70.27 percent to 11 units

In the first three months of the 2024 calendar year, Ford Motor Mexico sales increased 32 percent to 13,143 units.

The Ford Authority Take

The solid Ford Motor Company Mexico sales growth in March represents another win for the automaker, as it has experienced over one year of growth in the country. Last month’s result represents FoMoCo’s 13th consecutive monthly increase in the Mexican market.

A good number of the automaker’s models managed to increase their sales in Mexico during March, with several substantial growths led by the best-selling and all-new Ford Territory. The compact crossover once again positioned itself as the company’s most popular vehicle with almost 1,000 deliveries in the month, ahead of the F-Series, which suffered a drop in March.

Additionally, Ford Ranger had a triple digit increase in sales. Similarly, the Transit, Escape, and redesigned Mustang also stand out. Together, those four nameplates totaled a remarkable 951 units year over year. In particular, outstanding figure for the Ford Ranger consolidates it as the company’s third best-selling model in Mexico, with the potential to continue growing.
