Ford Mustang Global Gallop Will Let Influencers Run Wild

To celebrate six decades of the Mustang nameplate, The Blue Oval has released a series of special products and experiences related to the pony car’s rich heritage. For starters, the Ford Mustang Experience Center will open to enthusiasts next year. Additionally, the lineup will be augmented by the 2025 Ford Mustang 60th Anniversary Package. Ford also decided to give S650 Mustang owners a set of downloadable gauges inspired by the 1967 through 1968 Mustang, which can be added to the 2024 Ford Mustang. Now, to help spread the word about the milestone anniversary, The Blue Oval is lending a fleet of 2024 Mustang coupes and convertibles and Mustang Mach-E EVs to journalists, content creators, and ambassadors around the world to take part in the Ford Mustang Global Gallop.

The Global Gallop challenge is easy: participants lucky enough to get their hands on a Mustang are asked to take it on an adventure. Beyond that, though, there are no limits. Ford suggests taking the Mustang on a cruise down Route 66 or up Pike’s Peak in Colorado for American ambassadors, while European participants could take on the Transfăgărășan highway in Romania.

“The point is these experiences are up to the imaginations of the our ambassadors,” says Matt Simpson, Ford Enthusiast Vehicles General Manager. “It’s a car built for experiencing the open road with emotion, performance, and excitement and for drivers who are always wondering what’s around the next bend.”

Andy To, Lauren Stoney and Uma Leoni are just a handful of influencers asked to participate in the Ford Mustang Global Gallop, while more will be announced as the year goes on. Enthusiasts can keep track of the journeys using the hashtags #FordMustangGG and #Mustang60 on social media.

The Ford Mustang Global Gallop isn’t the first time a Blue Oval vehicle has taken social media by storm. The Ford Maverick is Tik Tok’s most popular vehicle, raking in billions of views on the short video platform, while the Ford Explorer EV has been traversing the globe on a tour to prove its mettle (and metal).

We’ll have more on these experiences soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for more Ford Mustang news, Ford Mustang Mach-E news and non-stop Ford news coverage.
