Fresh off a refresh for the 2023 model year, the 2024 Ford Escape doesn’t feature many major changes or updates. Now, Ford Authority takes a look at all six wheel options available for the crossover.
The first rollers are the 19-inch Machined-face aluminum wheels with Dark Tarnished painted pockets, which are standard on the 2024 Escape Platinum. The base Escape Active gets the 17-inch Shadow Silver painted aluminum wheels, while the 18-inch Machined-face Magnetic Aluminum wheels with painted pockets are standard fare on the Escape PHEV.
The 18-inch Rock Metallic painted aluminum wheels are standard on the ST-Line and ST-Line Select, while the 19-inch Machined-face Ebony-painted aluminum wheels are optional for the ST-Line Select and standard on the ST-Line Elite. Finally, the 19-inch Ebony-painted aluminum wheels are optional on the ST-Line Elite.
Aside from the aforementioned wheels, the 2024 Ford Escape can be customized with any one of eight exterior color choices, including one new one known as Race Red, although it did leave two colors behind for the latest model year.
Beyond that, though, the 2024 Ford Escape doesn’t feature many major changes or updates, other than the deletion of the Base trim from the retail lineup, making it a fleet-only trim level. As such, the Active is now the entry level trim for the Escape, and includes a chrome front grille strip, body-color door handles, chrome upper window molding, black beltline molding, a power liftgate and 17-inch Shadow Silver-painted aluminum wheels.
Other changes include the elimination of the SecuriCode keypad, while the connected navigation system subscription has been changed, and now only grants one year of complimentary service to buyers of the 2024 Ford Escape.
We’ll have more on the 2024 Ford Escape soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for more Ford Escape news and 24/7 Ford news coverage.

The bottom 2 corners have the labels swapped. 18″ rock metallic is the bottom right and 19″ ebony painted is the bottom left. It is worth spending the $495 to get the machine face 19″ over the rock metallic. I have a rapid red ST line with those wheels.
