While one could successfully argue that the regular Ford Bronco Raptor packs more than enough visual punch to get it noticed everywhere it goes, the folks at Maxlider Brothers Customs would tend to disagree with that notion. Thus, the longtime customizer of both vintage and newer Bronco models began building its own rather wild version of the high-performance off-roader shortly after it debuted for the 2022 model year, and we’ve seen a pair of examples surface for sale at auction since then – including the very first one produced, as well as build number six of a planned 150 total units. Now, those that crave one of these wild Maxlider Ford Bronco Raptor models can bid on yet another one – this black example that’s set to be sold at Barrett-Jackson’s upcoming 2024 Palm Beach Auction that takes place later this week.
This particular 2023 Ford Bronco Raptor features serial number #23MAXRAP042 and is yet another example of the planned 150-unit run for the 2023 and 2024 model years, and it’s every bit as visually polarizing as its predecessors. On the outside, one will find an array of parts from Maxlider that include its modular front bumper and brush guard, a 10,000 pound WARN winch, dual 4.7-inch LED cannon lights, LED cube lights, an LED light bar, and a matching Maxlider heavy duty rear bumper, to boot.
The whole thing rolls on a set of custom 18-inch wheels wrapped in 37-inch BFGoodrich mud-terrain tires for good measure, and there’s a matching spare mounted on the tailgate, thanks to the company’s heady-duty reinforcement system. AMP Research powered running boards help one get in and out of this SUV that has been treated to a leveling kit to raise the front end, and it’s well-equipped with the Lux Package and Carbon Fiber Package, to boot. However, the company has also added a custom Katzkin Tangerine leather interior with embroidered Maxlider headrests and the Black Maxlider Raptor Graphics Package.
As is the case with all Ford Bronco Raptor models, this one is equipped with the twin-turbocharged 3.0L V6 EcoBoost engine and 10-speed automatic transmission, with just 52 miles showing on the odometer. It’ll take a certain type of person to bid big bucks on such a wild ride, but then again, we imagine at least one attendee in Palm Beach this week will want to do precisely that.
We’ll have more interesting auction finds to share soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for more Ford Bronco news and non-stop Ford news coverage.

All that time and money and they left the ecoboost in it? Meh.
