NASCAR Ford Drivers A Good Bet For ’24 Spring Talladega Race

Talladega Superspeedway is always a wild card on the Cup Series schedule. Scheduled for April 21st, 2024, the forthcoming race at ‘Dega is sure to be a thriller, and for fans who want to make a buck or two off the finishing order, several NASCAR Ford drivers are a safe bet, according to the latest odds from NASCAR.com.

Right up top, two NASCAR Ford drivers are primed to lead the pack across the stripe. Brad Keselowski, driver of the No. 6 Ford Mustang Dark Horse, is a superspeedway ace. Hot off his second-place finish at Texas, Keselowski’s odds of winning Talladega are 10-1, making him one of the best drivers to put money on this weekend. Defending champion Ryan Blaney, driver of the No. 12 Mustang, is also a safe bet with 10-1 odds, having several Talladega wins under his belt already, and don’t sleep on Joey Logano, driver of the No. 22 Mustang, who has 11-1 odds if winning this weekend.

The No. 17 NASCAR Ford driver, Chris Buescher, is a bit of a long shot with 19-1 odds, but anything can happen at Talladega. Austin Cindric and the No. 2 Mustang are also a pretty good bet with 30-1 odds, and Michael McDowell, No. 34 Mustang, could win big with 40-1 odds. Noah Gragson has proved to be an excellent superspeedway racer in the Xfinity Series, and his odds of bringing the No. 10 Mustang across the line first are 45-1, along with Chase Briscoe, driver of the No. 14 Mustang.

Riskier betters might opt for Todd Gilliland, driver of the No. 38 Mustang (50-1), or maybe Ryan Preece, driver of the No. 41 Mustang (55-1) and Josh Berry, driver of the No. 4 Mustang (70-1). At the opposite end of the spectrum, fans willing to take a chance should take a look at Cody Ware, driver of the No. 15 Mustang, whose odds of 250-1 make him the longest shot in the field heading into Talladega this weekend.

The green flag at ‘Dega is scheduled for 3 p.m ET this Sunday.
