Steeda 2015-2024 Ford Mustang Extreme G-Trac Brace Debuts

Using its own in-house test bed – the 2024 Ford Mustang GT known as the “Silver Bullet 2.0” – Steeda has been cranking out parts for the S650 generation pony car as of late, a list that includes things like the new ProFlow air filters, a GT500 style rear spoiler, and a set of spherical bearings for the rear lower control arms. Now, the longtime tuner is back with another upgrade for the 2015-2024 Ford Mustang – its Extreme G-Trac K-Member Brace.

Steeda 2015-2024 Ford Mustang Extreme G-Trac Brace 002

The new Steeda Extreme G-Trac K-Member Brace is designed to fit both S550 and S650 generation Ford Mustang models and has received a few updates over the company’s previous offering. The updated brace is designed to improve handling performance and stability, which it accomplishes by reducing flex while also maintaining the type of steering response that pony car fans tend to appreciate.

Steeda’s new K-Member Brace accomplishes this by stiffening up the chassis and tying the control arm mount and the rear of the front subframe together, and it’s made from chromoly steel, which means that it’s more than twice as strong as a typical mild steel brace of the same type. From there, Steeda powdercoats the brace in texture black using its own proprietary process.

In addition to improving handling performance, the Steeda also notes that the Extreme G-Trac K-Member Brace helps maintain proper suspension geometry, minimizes “tramlining” – or the tendency of a vehicle to pull or wander on the road when wider tires are used – and results in more predictable handling overall. Pricing for this new part comes in at $259.95, and it can be purchased now by heading over here.
