With Lincoln discontinuing all of its sedans and coupes years ago, those that want a luxurious vehicle of that type from that brand are forced to look to the used market, where we’ve seen quite a few hit collector car auctions as of late. This includes the Lincoln Mark VII, as in recent months, we’ve come across a 10k-mile 1991 Mark VII LSC, as well as a 1992 model of that same type with a mere 29k miles on the clock. Now, they’ve been joined by this also quite-nice 1991 Lincoln Mark VII LSC, which is currently up for grabs at Bring a Trailer with a still-low 43k miles showing on the odometer.
This Luxury Sport Coupe (LSC) 1991 Lincoln Mark VII has bounced around the U.S. quite a bit thus far, landing with the current owner back in 2022. However, none of the car’s owners have driven it much, and they’ve also taken quite good care of it, by the looks of these photos. In fact, there are only a few minor blemishes marring its Arctic White paint and gray lower-body panels, as well as its 16-inch BBS wheels.
The same goes for the interior, which is in great shape and loaded with amenities that include beige leather seating, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, automatic climate control, a trip computer, a Ford-JBL audio system, and a factory AM/FM/CD stereo, along with power windows and door locks. Other than typical wear and tear, the overhead compass display isn’t working, but otherwise, there aren’t many flaws to note inside the cabin.
Mechanically speaking. this Lincoln Mark VII is equipped with four-wheel disc brakes, a handling-tuned electronic auto-leveling air suspension, and Ford’s fuel-injected 302 cubic-inch V8. That powerplant sends 225 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque to the rear wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission for decent performance. Regardless, luxury coupes don’t exactly grow on trees these days, making this Mark VII a pretty sweet find for anyone looking for precisely that.
