Though it returned to the U.S. in 2019 as a mid-size pickup, those seeking a last-gen, compact Ford Ranger have plenty of nice ones to choose from on the secondary market, too. That includes a 34k-mile 2007 XLT that we came across recently, as well as a 13k-mile 2003 XLT, a 2k-mile 2000 XL Trailhead, and a 3k-mile 2011 Ranger Sport, to name just a few. Now, this 2010 Ford Ranger XLT with 16k miles on the clock joins that ever-growing list, as it’s currently up for grabs at Bring a Trailer.
This particular 2010 Ford Ranger XLT SuperCab spent some time in Ohio and Michigan before landing in Connecticut, and now, is seeking a new home after traveling very few miles over its lifespan thus far. However, unlike those aforementioned pickups, this one isn’t totally stock, as it sports upgrades such as a body-color bed cap, roof bars, running boards, 16-inch American Racing wheels, BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires, a leveling kit, and Bilstein shocks to give it a more rugged appearance.
Inside the cabin, things were pretty much left alone with the exception of a newer Alpine touchscreen head unit, meaning that one will find gray cloth-covered seats, air conditioning, power windows and locks, and an otherwise original interior to spend time in. Regardless, it remains in extremely nice condition with no flaws noted in the auction listing.
As far as power goes, this Ford Ranger gets by with the naturally-aspirated Ford 4.0L V6 Cologne engine, which was factory-rated to send 207 horsepower and 238 pound-feet of torque to all four wheels via a five-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The previous owner added a K&N air filter and dual exhaust to this pickup as the proverbial finishing touches, giving it some uniqueness to go along with its low mileage total and stellar condition, too.
