Since it launched for the 2022 model year, the Ford Maverick has quickly become one of the most popular vehicles to customize that’s on sale today. We can thank the pickup’s lost cost for much of that, along with the once-dead but now-revived mini-truck movement, which has conjured up all kinds of creativity. In fact, we’ve seen Ford Maverick owners install Ford F-150 console shifters in their pickups, the digital instrument cluster from a Ford Escape, the steering wheel from a Fiesta ST, wheels from a Focus RS, and even a lift kit and off-road tires. Now, another Ford Maverick owner and member of the Maverick Truck Club has successful installed Jaguar F-Pace wheels on their pickup, too.
This particular Ford Maverick is a brand new 2024 model, albeit a base XL, so it came with a pair of basic “steelie” style wheels from the factory. As such, the owner wanted to replace those with something a bit nicer looking, but instead of looking to the aftermarket, they began searching for OEM take offs that may fit the compact pickup without requiring a bunch of modifications.
After a while, the owner discovered that the Jaguar F-Pace uses a 255/55 sized tire that would work on the Maverick, as well as the same bolt pattern for the wheels. Thus, this was a straight bolt-on job that took mere minutes, and amazingly, the OEM Jaguar rolling stock setup doesn’t even rub or experience any clearance issues either, according to the owner.
That may change in the near future, as this Ford Maverick owner does plan on installing a set of Goodwin lowering springs soon in an effort to give it a sportier look and eliminate that unsightly wheel gap. In the meantime, this strange swap certainly looks good, however, and gives Maverick owners another option when it comes to changing out the factory rollers.
We’ll have more on the Maverick soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for more Ford Maverick news and continuous Ford news coverage.

I like the wheels. They improve the look……a lot!
