Cobb Debuts Ford F-150 Carbon Fiber Radiator Shrouds

Cobb Tuning has launched a handful of new parts and accessories for various Blue Oval models as of late, a list that includes expanded tuning support for the Ford Explorer ST, an air intake system for the sixth-generation Ford Bronco, and the new Hydrocarbon Trap Intakes for the Ford F-150, as well as a full-blown custom F-150 Raptor build showing off many of those components. Now, owners of regular Ford F-150 models and Raptor pickups have yet another new part to consider – Cobb’s carbon fiber radiator shrouds.

Ford F-150 Raptor Cobb Redline Carbon Fiber Radiator Shroud

Officially dubbed the Redline Carbon Fiber Radiator Shrouds, these new parts from Cobb are designed to perfectly compliment the company’s existing carbon fiber coolant cover, air scoop, and intakes for the Ford F-150, and feature integrated mesh grilles, a 2×2 twill weave pattern, and a riveted Cobb badge for appearance’s sake.

The new Cobb Redline Carbon Fiber Radiator Shrouds are designed to do precisely that, after all – dress up the engine bay while also helping to improve performance by reducing intake pressure drop before it reaches the filter. According to Cobb, this is achieved by increasing airflow through the cutouts in the shroud into the snorkel when the hood is shut. Additionally, when combined with the company’s intake scoop brakes, the shroud reduces intake ducting collapse when it’s facing a large load or vacuum.

Those interested in purchasing this new carbon fiber radiator shroud can do so for a few configurations – one is available for the 2017-2020 second-generation Ford F-150 Raptor, while the other fits the 2021-2023 Ford F-150 with either the 2.7L V6 EcoBoost or 3.5L V6 EcoBoost engines and third-generation Raptor pickups. Either way, Cobb’s new Carbon Fiber Radiator Shroud can be purchased now for the retail price of $395.
