Aside from a large number of collectible automobiles of the Blue Oval persuasion, we’ve seen plenty of Ford-related memorabilia surface for sale at auction as of late, too. That list is rather diverse and includes goods such as a Ford RS Cosworth sign, a vintage Ford Mustang sign, an illuminated Blue Oval logo sign, a 1953-vintage Ford porcelain sign, and even a light-up Lincoln Mark III sign, to boot. Now, those looking for something else to hang on their wall can find it in this diverse collection of reproduction Ford signs that’s currently up for grabs at Bring a Trailer.
This particular auction lot consists of a grand total of five different Ford signs, making for a pretty quick way to fill up a wall in one’s garage or hobby-focused room. Each of them feature multi-color neon illumination, metal faces and frames, pre-drilled mounting holes, and all of them are wired for 120-volt power and housed within a wood shipping pallet. The seller acquired the lot just last year, but is now offering them up as a group yet again.
First up in this Blue Oval sign collection, we have one with a Mustang logo and script, which is a pretty classic design that anyone vaguely familiar with the iconic pony car should recognize instantly. It’s joined by another icon in the automotive world – a Shelby American sign – and both of them measure around 36 inches in diameter and are six inches deep.
The other three signs in this collection are done up more in the style of actual vehicles. Those include the front end of a Shelby Cobra with “Shelby” script in the center, coupled with a first-generation F-Series pickup that looks quite realistic, as well as one depicting the front end of an S550-generation Mustang Shelby GT500. All of these three measure between 53-60 inches wide by 28-44 inches tall, and each would certainly look pretty darn cool hanging on the wall of any died-in-the-wool Blue Oval fan’s home.
