The Ford Authority Take

After experiencing a commercial setback in March, Ford Brazil’s sales quickly recovered and posted a dramatic double-digit increase in April. The Blue Oval returned to form last month by adding a significant volume of more than 1,600 units year over year.

Several Ford Brazil models posted high double- and triple-digit sales increases in April, including the best-selling Ford Ranger. The midsize pickup continues to establish itself as the brand’s best-selling nameplate in the Brazilian market, where it arrives with units imported from Argentina.

Also, the drastic increases in Ford F-Series and Territory sales during the past month in Brazil stand out. Both models continue to be popular among Brazilian customers, with the compact crossover occupying second place in sales in regards to inter-brand sales. Also noteworthy was the introduction of the full-size fully electric Transit. The Ford Transit-E registered its first 102 units in the country.
