Ford E-Transit Wins 2024 Best Fleet Value In America Award

Last year, the Ford E-Transit was part of a literal Blue Wave after becoming one of several FoMoCo-branded models to take home a Vincentric Best Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) Value in America Award, topping the large cargo van segment by offering up lower ownership costs than its competition. Now, the Ford E-Transit has followed up that feat by also winning a 2024 Vincentric Best Fleet Value in America Award as well.

The Ford E-Transit in 350 Base Cargo LR 130 WB guise secured the top spot in the full-size one-ton cargo van segment of the 2024 Vincentric Best Fleet Value in America Awards for the third consecutive year, in fact, joining a host of other Blue Oval models yet again. When the dust settled, the E-Transit won 12 out of 28 lifecycle cost scenarios in Vincentric’s analysis and outperformed 49 competitor trims while offering up the lowest maintenance and overall operating costs in its class.

The E-Transit was joined in this year’s awards by its ICE counterpart, the Ford Transit, which topped the full-size one-ton van, full-size half-ton cargo van, and full-size 3/4 ton cargo van segments. Additionally, the Ford Maverick XL topped the small pickup space, while the Ford F-150 Lightning Pro won the half-ton full-size pickup segment and the Ford Super Duty F-250 beat all of its competitors in the full-size 3/4 ton pickup space.

To determine the winners of the 2024 Best Fleet Value in America Awards, Vincentric performed a cost of ownership analysis measuring over 3,000 vehicle configurations based on typical fleet use. These results were based on eight cost factors – depreciation, fees and taxes, financing, fuel, insurance, maintenance, opportunity cost, and repairs – and each vehicle was evaluated in all 50 states plus Washington D.C. using 28 different lifecycle scenarios. The winners were identified by determining which had the lowest fleet lifecycle cost in the most scenarios within its segment.
