About Ford Escape

Coming off a refresh for the 2023 model year, the 2024 Ford Escape features few changes and updates aforementioned changes, including the addition of a new Race Red color and the Active now being the entry level trim as Base becomes a fleet-only trim. The 2024 Escape drops the SecuriCode keyless entry keypad across the board as a factory option, replaced by a dealer installed part.

Can we get 0% financing on Escape in Canada also?

Why not just pay cash for the vehicle? If you have to Finance or Lease, you can’t afford it to begin with.

Opportunity cost. If you can take out a 2.99% car loan (for example), and put your own money in the easiest investment tool, a 5% CD, guess what I’m gonna do?

Because sometimes it makes more sense to finance a new vehicle than pay several thousand dollars for a repair on an old vehicle. That happened to me in 2021. My old Focus’s transmission crapped out. My options were A) pay over $2k to fix the transmission while paying for a rental car for a week, B) pay $5k to replace the transmission while paying for a rental car for a couple weeks, C) buy a used vehicle, or D) take advantage of a dealer trade-in special and get a new vehicle. I picked option D which gave me a really low interest rate (right before they spiked) on a vehicle that cost less than what the used market sold me.

Sometimes life’s scenarios aren’t so cut and dry; we have to evaluate to risks/costs at that time and make the best decision we can.

Hey Fran why take money that’s making money out of your accounts when you can get o% then pay it off when you see fit.
