Have a 2023 xlt been recalled 3 times since I received the vehicle in October of 23 it’s been easy repairs they come right to my door and update the software, it’s been a great truck with excellent gas mileage but this will be the 4th recall in 7 months, this is starting to get old
Got a notification of this recall from Ford today, actually. That makes 3 recalls I have stacked up, all related to software (two BCM module, one instrument panel cluster). I got my Maverick in Oct 2023 (built on Labor Day).
Apparently the dealer in my area doesn’t come to the door, but I’ll probably hold off on these until it’s time for an oil change and get it all done at once.
Does Ford test their products before release? This is ridiculous. Almost daily Ford is recalling a product for something. At this point, it’s embarrassing. Ford is the most recalled automotive manufacturer.
You should be happy they have recalls.
Other companies may keep it hush, hush until the NTSB get involved. Just saying.
